Which Ear Dog Chew Is Right For Your Dog?

1 CommentWednesday, 6 June 2018  |  Kate

Chewing is vital for dogs, and most dogs like to do it. It stimulates the mind, occupies them, alleviates stress and helps to prevent boredom.

But we don’t want them chewing our furniture or swallowing a chewed tennis ball.

So an air dried pig ear dog treat for instance is the perfect solution but depending on the size of your dog’s mouth, how much they like to chew in the first place, and what food intolerances they may have it’s hard to know which ear too choose.

These days however ear chews for dogs are wide and varied: Try rabbit ears with or without fur treats, goat ears, cow ears with hair or pig ears.

What size ear is right for my dog?

To help you choose take a look at our graphic below. We’ve lined up our ears to scale to give you an approximate idea of shape and size. Now you have a better idea of which ear chew is right for your dog.

All the ears at My Itchy Dog are air dried. None of them are bleached, no additives – colours, flavours or preservatives – are added, so you know what you’re getting. Bon Appetit!
