To be honest, there’s nothing in here to stop you from sharing them with your dog, and if there is a whiff of a wheat allergy just replace the flour with rice flour.
Simple, quick, and delicious. My kind of baking. You can make these for Christmas if you have a mind to, or for any occasion that requires a bit of home baking for the dog.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
170g (6oz) flour
170g (6oz) oats
1tsp baking powder
2tbsp cooking oil
2tbsp peanut butter (the no added sugar kind)
1. Heat the oven to 180°C (350°F) Gas 4.
2. Grease and line a large baking tray. Mix all the ingredients together to form a dough, roll it out and put it onto the tray right to the edges. Cut the dough into biscuit-sized sections with a sharp knife.
3. Bake on the middle shelf for around 20 minutes, turn the heat off and leave them in the oven to dry.
A very simple recipe and the dogs love them.
