Composition
The recipe contains mostly everything that many adult dogs need for healthy living. To maintain a balanced diet, improve digestion, and maintain healthy skin and coat, Burns pet foods are low in fat. The Original Chicken and Brown Rice variety have 7.5% crude fat, 18.5% crude protein, 2.2% crude fibre, and 6% crude ash.
It is 67% brown rice, 20% chicken meal, with oats, peas, chicken oil, sunflower oil, seaweed, and minerals. The Burns brand avoids the use of preservatives, artificial colouring and flavouring.
